About Hydroxyapatite: The hydroxyapatite particle size in this product is 5 microns (or 5,000 nanometers). This is considered a micro particle (NOT a nano particle). A nano particle is described as being smaller than 100 nanometers. We recommend avoiding nano particles because they can cross the blood brain barrier, and the effects of this are not known. Nanotechnology is emerging. A particle size of 5 microns cannot cross the blood brain barrier. You can read more about our thoughts on hydroxyapatite here.
